Dave Masters took over as the SHO after Karen Goodliffe's departure mid way through series 8. Dave was keen to learn and friendly, if a little shy. He seemed to settle in quite well but still was unsure of the impression he was making. He was reassured by Mike Barratt, who said he was pleased with the way he'd settled in. Dave left at the end of series 8.
