Lucy Cooper joined Josh Griffiths in the Holby ambulance towards the end of series 8. She was new to the life of being a paramedic but Josh soon showed her the ropes. She got on well with most people and had a good bedside manner with patients. She was replaced in series 9 by Liz Harker.
