Trainee paramedic Emma is partnered with Nikki, and when they reach the scene of an emergency they are unable to do what is necessary, but Nikki breaks the rules to save a man’s life. Josh and Colette are still arguing about having children. Lara finally breaks down after facing another domestic violence case, and is offered a room at Harry’s house.
