Jane tells Simon she is leaving him, saying she doesn't want to be one of his projects. Colette goes for a scan and discovers her baby has club foot, which may indicate other problems. Eddie dies from his infection, and Jack takes it out on Tony. Merlin turns up at Anna's flat, begging her to carry on as if nothing had happened. Anna says no and closes the door on him before bursting into tears. As Merlin walks away he meets Lyn, whom Anna is avoiding. He tells Lyn she has ruined his life - twice.
