Alison McGrellis was a student nurse who appeared in series 3. She was great friends with fellow student nurse Kiran Joghill. Kiran and Alison were often to be seen giggling around the department like naughty schoolgirls. Alison spoke with a broad scottish accent and fellow staff members would often take the mick out of her. In one episode Alison went out with the ambulance crew for the day. She was a bit daunted at first because she didn't know them but she soon settled. She became irritated with Keith's lighthearted jokes about her Scottish accent but Shirley just told him to shut up. Alison got on well with patients and staff but could be a bit sharp with people if they stepped out of line.
